So anyways, I'm finally back! That should be it as far as trips go for the rest of the summer. Anyways, good to be back, and now I'm still getting to work on the not so well known, DL Tournament. However, while I'm waiting for the last few profiles to come in, I sit idly by, working on a Wanna-be short comic, which I like to call...ahem, *braces self*

So anyways, it's simply something to pass the time until I get going with the tournament. However if I like it, [and already I am] I'll continue with it when I have time. [Not to mention, I've had little bits and pieces of this plot comming to me for weeks now]

Anyways, for those of you who are familiar with my favorite RP on Gaia, Akoah Saga Its about a small band of rag-tag adventurers set off to make their land, Akoah, and better place by ridding it on an evil called the Ark Taint. I'd be into more, but I'd loose track of the time.

So my little story here, is about a rather brave lad named Kai [I couldn't help myself. He strike's main character to me] in his adventures into a wonderland where he meets up with the creature's of the Queen of Heart's kingdom [also known as familiar cameos] in order to put a stop to the wicked reign inside his thoughts, and wake himself up.

So like the title says, I'll be seeing you guys as soon as I can, but for now I'll be in Illinois for a CIY [Christ in Youth] Conference. Once I get home I wont have time to check up on anything here because I'll be going straight back into the car. [I just have to grab my other bag] and I'll be on a short trip with my friend and our moms. However, I should be able to check up on things here in the evenning by then, so I'm not too worried.

P.S. Momma chan, if you need your games back, just call and my brother can bring them back over if he's done with them. [I doubt he'll be finishing Rule of Rose :' P ]

DL Tournament [the Dark Lord's tournament]

[The DL Tournament is a test comic I'd like to try out, to see about future projects. I'm keeping positions open to a few friends only to keep it small, but of course, anyone is free to comment, and make suggestions.]

Story Line [I'll keep it short]

[Try not to laugh at the interesting choice of names]
Nautica was once a land that resided in peace. Under the rule of its king, Illiad. However, war broke out against another nation, and Illiad and his prince, Illius left to lead their troops. But only Illius was to return, and he was never the same. Given a strange, demonic touch, the prince took over the throne with a darker reign, pulling Nautica into troubling times.

It’s been two years since then, and now the Lord seeks some of the finest fighters in the region. Sending his messengers out to find them, and prepare them for an up coming tournament. But who would desire to play along in the Lord's games for his amusement anyways? Perhaps someone who was offered their greatest desire? Power or wealth? Or maybe something was taken from them that was deeply important. And until they prove themselves in the tournament, Lord Illius will...hold on to them for a while...

What Illius wants out of this tournament, is a selection of the best fighters from the corners of Nautica. As his warriors and spell casters, His rule can only expand.

Lord Illius The demonic lord of Nautica. Has recently set up a tournament to pick the best of the fighters known to the region. He is known for his brilliant mind, and his skills in negation. However, as of late, it seems that someone else may be taking control, and pulling the strings behind the Lord. [link]

The Messengers Creatures of the Lord's design. They are considered beasts, but will remain at peace until ordered. Obedient to no limit, they are at Illius' beck and call. They’ve been sent to the corners of Nautica to deliver the Lord’s invitations to the soon-to-be contestants, persuasions included. [link]

The Contestants Fighters entered into the tournament. Messengers first arrive with amazing offers, or taking away what they value most and leave, with the invite as their only trace of ever existing there. Within a month they return as escorts, and take them to the capital, Nauli, where the Lord awaits.

Age: Looks to be around 17-20
Gender: Male
Race: It appears to have human qualities, but what ever he is, isn’t known for certain.
Fighting Abilities: What he lacks in strength, he makes up for in speed. Yanamo doesn’t seem to have any sort of magical abilities, however his strangely crafted sickle seems to have a dark aura. His lengthy weapon is capable of reaching a distance of eight feet, and tends to leave a nasty looking mark on anything it cuts. He is easily out muscled, and not the best strategic fighter but his swift movements allow him to get in and out of range of an opponent quickly. He’s weak against many magical attacks, and often panics, causing him to perform some rather stupid stunts.
Personality: A little reserved, and extremely peaceful. Yanamo is easily described as a day dreamer, and often mentally falls out of conversations. A little skittish, and slow to anger, it’s difficult to imagine him as a candidate for the Lord’s tournament. However, he proves to be a willing fighter, and doesn’t seem to understand the words give up
Reason for Entry: To rescue Indi. A friend, and possible love interest.
Bio: No on really knows just where Yanamo came from. He’s a mysterious yet gentle being who’s speech only goes as far as his name [meaning of course, he can only say his own name] He appeared one day in the town of Cleaver, and found himself a most unfriendly welcome. Wandering like the dim character he tends to be, Yanamo strayed into an alley, where he was soon after pumbled by thugs then left unconscious. It wasn’t long before A young girl named Indi came by, and caught site of him by chance, and carried him home, where she cared for him until he recovered. But rather than gratefully thank her and leave, the little mooch seemed to stay, until he eventually became apart of the family. After all, the stray had no where else to go. After a couple of years living with Indi and her family, the two became nearly inseparable. Like a brother and sister [however in Yanamo’s case, the two often seem to be something more] However, things seemed to take a turn for the worse when one of Lord Illius’ messengers came and delivered an invitation to the tournament, and taking one very important thing along with it. His dear friend, Indi. Since receiving the invite, Yanamo has trained non stop until the day where the messengers return to escort him back to the capital for the tournament.

Yes it's true! I survived! And boy do I have some stories to tell...However, I was rather easily convinced to draw out my favorite possible disaster, so you'll have to keep an eye out for something along the lines of Coffee mahem and what not...

Anywho, despite my cruddy camera skills during the con, I've decided to post you some of the cosplays that were seen at Matsuri. [even one or two of my own] I REALLY reccomend getting a look at some of these. They're pretty cool X']

1. First off, I have this spunky young lady, dressed as everyone's favorite childhood imaginary pet, Pikachu! [don't lie, you know you love him] As cute as she is, it turns out she's in her earlier twenties! [she had the driver's liscense to prove it too...] At the same time, she had a sticker on her Con badge to prove that she was seven! :'O You GO GIRL! Way to beat the system!

2. I have no idea who this is, but man she had a nice Cosplay! I just had to get a quick pic. If any of you guys recognize her, be sure to tell me! [I'd like to know where such a cool chickie came from too!]

3. This guy was one of my absolute favorites, and it's easy to see why...Going all out, this mysterious cosplayer here even made the gundam's eyes light up in a red color and even blink off.

4. I took this guy's picture today, just a couple hours before I had to leave. This here mail delivery man would to any Legend of Zelda fan proud! [See that? He's got the flag and everything!] And it's true what they say...his shorts get a little shorter in each game...

5. These boys here really got into the con spirit this weekend. Together, this crossplaying group through on their skirts and said to the world, Screw pants! We've gotta dance! No, they didn't really say that [as far as I'm concerned] but aren't I wonderful at rhyming? Anywho, they brought dozens of people into the con spirit with their group dances and even a major conga line [that went around in a very small circle]

6. This Axel here, is actually a friend of mine. His ever so talented girl friend [we call her Tifa] made his wig and costume, I believe, while the weapon was made by another one of our friends. He's a bit of a camera phobe, so this is about as good as I could get.

7. Friday night, we all had a case of the munchies...however, mine was a bit...extreme to say the least...thankfully, Momma [right] was kind enough to lend me [left] a limb.

9. Day 1, I wore my first official cosplay. Please don't throw things when I say, "My Gramma made this for me when I was in middle school"! Everyone loves a nice little Ichigo waitress from Tokyo Mew Mew, right? RIIIIIGHT? Of course you do...I was quite flattered to have my picture taken by a nice bunch of Con-Goers that day. On day, I dressed as Kyoko, from Skip Beat. A less popular [but really fun] manga series. I highly reccomend it if you're looking for a good laugh! Needless to say, I only had one person recognize the LoveMe Section uniform...

10. At last, when I finally got home, I hopped in the shower for a good cleaning [gotta wash up after running around in costume all day with a bajillion other people you know] then sat down, and pulled out all my little presents. Some are for me, and some are for a couple friends who couldn't be there this weekend.
